Linda has been living in BC for over 40 years and is happily married to Brian, who retired from the RCMP. They have lived in Kamloops for the past 27 years and plan to make this their retirement home. They have two married children who both live in Kamloops. Linda’s daughter, Kristy Janota, has been a part of the real estate team since receiving her real estate license in 2008! She is also a CPA which is plus for the team. Her husband, Paul Janota, is our IT and support guy. Linda’s son Wade is a Senior Engineering Tech and GIS Coordinator for Urban Systems and his wife, Tricia, is a CPA with BC Lotteries. Linda is very proud of their successful careers. Linda especially enjoys her four grandchildren and feels fortunate to have them close by.
Linda is a member of the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce. She enjoys
travel, gardening and making stained glass windows. She was trained in
Business Administration so brings good organizational skills to her Real
Estate career. With years of direct sales experience, Linda knows how
to market properties to get the most effective results. Linda and Kristy have earned
the RE/MAX Chairman’s Club Award for the past ten years as well
as the RE/MAX Titan and Diamond Awards. In addition she has earned the RE/MAX Hall
of Fame Award, the Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Spirit of the
West Award. Most recently, she earned the Circle Of Legends Award.
Linda contributes to the Children’s Miracle Network with a cash donation for every sale during the year. These funds go to help the BC Children’s Hospital. She travels to Vancouver annually to participate by manning the phones and taking pledges during the CMN Miracle Makers Telethon. Linda also creates a large stained glass window annually that she donates to the RE/MAX fund raising Miracle Makers Live Auction. To date, these Stained Glass creations have raised over $150,000! Linda also contributes an annual $1000 scholarship to the Thompson Rivers University to help 4th year business students.
