Dan Jones, Personal Real Estate Corporation - REALTOR®

Dan combines his love for the industry with his passion for education; for example, his diploma in Business Administration from Okanagan University College, Luxury Home Marketing Specialist Certificate, and EPro and Internet Marketing Specialist.  Dan was a Journeyman Carpenter for almost 20 years before getting into the real estate business in 2004.  He has worked on some great projects throughout his career, construction of custom homes, renovations, as well as some commercial jobs - the largest and most noted was the SkyDome in Toronto, Ontario.  

Dan is an active agent with Royal LePage Locations West, Penticton, BC, leading his team and representing buyers and sellers on a day-to-day basis.  He considers education – both clients and other real estate agents – an important part of his role as a REALTOR®.

Dan has received multiple awards at his office: Platinum, Diamond, Gold, and a 10 year achievement award for earning awards for the past 10 years. He has been a local Chamber of Commerce member since 2004.

Among the services he provides to his clients are a Customer Moving Van, professional photos and drone (aerial) photography/video of your property, and referring professional tradesman to help out when needed.

Social media helps us get to know each other, sometimes before we meet in person.  Dan is a social media and technology devotee ie: Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and You-Tube.  He is constantly educating himself on such subjects as real estate technology, building your business via social media, customer service and client retention. Dan is active with the South Okanagan Board of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.

As a supporter of the SPCA, Dan has raised thousands of dollars for charity with his annual Pumpkin Giveaway event as well as a booth and donations at the annual Paws 4 A Cause walk. Although Dan was born in Aldergrove, BC, where he was raised on the family Poultry Farm where he first started working at the age of 5, picking eggs. He was taught that hard work was everything, and retains that value today.  Dan made the move the Okanagan in 1991 where he lives with wife in Penticton, BC.  He is an avid racer, and enjoys many other sports such as skiing, golf, and hiking.
