Although Dan was born in Aldergrove, BC, where he was raised on the family Poultry Farm where he first started working at the age of 5, picking eggs. He was taught that hard work was everything, and retains that value today. Dan made the move the Okanagan in 1991 where he lives with wife in Penticton, BC. He is an avid racer, and enjoys many other sports such as skiing, golf, and hiking.
