5.79 acre organic farm in the heart of Cawston featuring a thoughtfully designed 2 bed 2 bath home, bunkhouse, root cellar, and chicken coops. The entrance to the property is lined with Douglas fir and pine trees creating incredible privacy and natural windbreak. The front portion of the land is planted in a mixed fruit orchard and variety of perennial food crops, whereas the back section is open and awaits your future plans. The original home was built using straw-bale style construction. Two subsequent additions were added several years apart, completed with modern 2x6 home building techniques. High efficiency BlazeKing wood fireplace heats the home well during the winter months. The back of the parcel borders Ginty’s Pond, an area rich in wildlife. Ongoing reclamation projects are encouraging more species to return to the area. Property has its own well and septic system. Telus high speed internet available. About
I believe that Real Estate is a relationship business and happy customers are the life blood of the business. I have been selling real estate in Kamloops for 13 years and have enjoyed the business very much. I sell primarily residential and some commercial real estate. I work out of REMAX Real Estate (Kamloop) and am a REMAX Hall of Fame recipient. I also have a SRES designation, which is a Senior's Specialist. Round that up with a CNS designation, which is a Certified Negotiation Specialist.
In my down time I am a Rotarian with The Rotary Club of Kamloops and we host the yearly Chefs in the City. We participate in other events including the twice yearly Rotary Food Drive, the Starfish Backpack program (the Starfish Backpacks are filled each week with fresh, healthy food and distributed to local school children). We give out bursaries, support the Royal Inland Foundation and help with individual events and situations, as they come up. We also support international programs.
I am also involved with the Valleyview Association, in the community where I live.
I have a hubby Peter of 42 years and two great girls, who now live in both end of the country with their hubbies, one in Fort St John, BC and one in Halifax, Nova Scotia. . Pete and I love Kamloops and all it has to offer. We have invested in the community both with real estate and through volunteering.
