About
Shelley's educational background consists of a Marketing Management & Professional Sales diploma from BCIT, the Bachelor of Business Administration program at Okanagan College, and the Real Estate Trading Services & Broker's Licensing Course at UBC. Prior to entering the real estate arena - Shelley spent 10 years in the non-profit sector. Real estate is in Shelley's blood - her father was a realtor for 20+ years. Her forefathers were part of the history of Summerland - her father and grandfather were the contractors/ developers for the Sumac Ridge Golf and Country Club and many of the homes in the surrounding area.
For the past 19 years Shelley has put her knowledge, experience, skills and talents towards assisting individuals, families and investors in buying and selling real estate in the Okanagan Valley.
Shelley is known for her intuition and diligence. When a client is speaking with her, she is raptly focused and clearly understands the critical points of their needs and desires. This is why Shelley is respected and known as one of the top realtors in the area. She also employs encouragement and genuine caring as she creates a positive experience for both sides in any property transaction. Her business approach is direct and successful – she listens to her client’s needs and assures an honest and efficient transaction.
In her free time, Shelley is passionate about maintaining the independent brokerage of Parker Real Estate, being a wife and mom to four kids, trying not to be the worst skier on the hill, nor the worse golfer on the course and going to "just a few" rock concerts.
