This premium property consists of two lots and two buildings in the core of the Resort Municipality of Revelstoke, BC. One building is a residence while the other is a commercial space, which has been operating as a restaurant for over 10 years. The house, at 304 First Street West, was built pre-1900 and has undergone extensive improvements and has been meticulously maintained. With cedar wood siding, resilient peaked corrugated galvanized metal roofing, solid wood flooring, and wood accents everywhere, the owner’s home for almost 30 years, the residence could continue in this vein or operate as a charming rental. The adjoining single story building built in 1929, houses a sizeable and accessible seating area, with spacious commercial kitchen, two washrooms and high curb appeal, on one of Revelstoke’s main retail streets. Featuring a classic tin ceiling, large windows facing First Street and a colourful living exterior wall, the space is visually appealing. The restaurant has a large, forced air furnace in the residences' basement, with a heat pump handling cooling duties. The basement also houses the homes furnace, on-demand water heater and provides several hundred square feet of storage. Zoned C1, the irregular lot of approximately 36’ by 133’ feet with lane access from two sides, also has potential for additional development.

About
In March
1997, while braving another prairie winter, Kurt arrived at the gates of the
RCMP Training Academy (Depot) in eager anticipation of training to become a
Mountie. Twenty-seven years later, that first step led to an extremely
rewarding and successful career, which included three service awards and three
promotions. More importantly, Kurt gained a true passion of caring for people.
Retiring in 2024 as a Staff Sergeant and the Revelstoke Detachment Commander
for 7 years, Kurt is pleased to take on his next challenge.
With a keen
desire to continue to live, work and play in Revelstoke, Kurt furthered his
education by successfully completing the UBC Sauder School of Business Real
Estate Trading Services certification. In February 2024 Kurt officially retired
and started a new career as a REALTOR®. Kurt is a skilled Sales
Representative for Coldwell Banker Executives Realty. Based out of Revelstoke,
Kurt has assisted clients in Revelstoke and area (Nakusp, Hills, Roseberry, New
Denver, Silverton and Trout Lake). Kurt looks forward to continuing to serve
the community.
Outside of
work, Kurt is a proud husband and father of three, and dedicates hours to
supporting youth sport. Kurt’s passion is cycling – both mountain and road. He
can be found riding year-round on the Revelstoke Illecillewaet Green Belt
Trails, or in the summer at Revelstoke Mountain Resort riding downhill while
trying to keep up with his son, or road riding along Airport Way or the Meadows
in the Sky Parkway. Two recent dog adoptions provide frequent recreational
activity.
Kurt is
excited to work with clients and families to find their place.
